Once again the past has come back to me! Bobby-Jo and I went to school together, from early grade school all the way through Sir John A. MacDonald.
We got together on a lucky warm winter day for a maternity session, in downtown Halifax, where both of us have worked for many years. She even brought along a new back of bubble gum! For anyone who knows Bobby-Jo she is a big fan of bubble gum! I had a lot of fun catching up on this shoot!
Congrats Bobby on your little boy Finlay!

I was fortunate enough that I got to meet little Lily the day she was born, but had to wait until we returned from our recent destination wedding before I was able to photograph her.
We wanted to bring her back to the Hayloft at Walker’s Feed for some infant photos. My friend Craig had a rocker that had once belonged to his grandmother and wanted to have photos taken with Lily in it. It was a really beautiful family heirloom. I think my favorite part was when Grandma and Grandpa Walker arrived, and were able to sit in some photos with her old rocker. There was some truly beautiful moments that afternoon. I look forward to getting a chance to photograph Lily again!

Andrew and I have been (sort of) working together for about a year. His company sells to the store that I work at through the week. When I heard that he and his wife Lindsay were expecting their first child I told him I would love to get together and do some photos with them!
We missed out on getting to photograph the baby bump.. and with Christmas approaching, time was hard to come by. Lindsay was past due for the little man, and I told Andrew that he would be born on Saturday (Dec 17th) because it was lucky. (Also because it is MY birthday!)
Sure enough! The little man was born that Saturday and just before New Years I got to meet him. So say hello to baby Jude! Future hockey player!

Christie and Tim welcomed a lovely little girl named Leah to the world in August. A couple months later they brought her over for a mini photo session! Such a goofy little girl with big eyes full of curiosity.
